Wow. Why am I just starting to listen to this man. He’s brilliant. I’ve done a bit of Googling and it appears the consensus is that people hate his looks now, and think he’s imitating Bon Iver, which I don’t agree with at all (as an avid Bon Iver fan btw,lol).

Matt’s voice is soulful, raw and filled with emotion. Exactly the way I like my folk singers. And not for nothing, I like his shaggy hair and unkempt beard. Seems more honest that way,lol.
