No one understands why we cried.
Bon Iver has been the go-to sad music for Sydney and I for about 4 years now. Every song has some kind of memory tied to it, some sad place we sat being pessimistic. To hear these songs, hear every note wrap itself around you fill your ears ears brought goosebumps and tears to both of us. It was an amazing show, he was so focused on the quality of each song. I was so impressed. After he played Wash. all hope was lost for my makeup. Chicago treated us well.
i understand.. i cried like a baby… lol.
Last night was my 1st time seeing Bon Iver. So I wrote a blog about it…
As a fan of the The Black Keys and MUTEMATH. They are nothing alike and wish people would stop putting Mutemath in a box. Mutemath needs to have their moment that is not tacked onto another band’s sound. Odd Soul is an awesome song regardless of any comparisons. That is all.
Yesterday I saw someone write how MUTEMATH are becoming irrelevant. REALLY?? You deduced that from 1 song?? GTFO!
I understand the comparisons, but MUTEMATH are nothing like The Black Keys…. at all. Just because 1 song may have similarities, you can bet your ass the rest won’t. Because nothing MUTEMATH ever does sounds the same. The are innovative and brilliant and any true fan should know not to doubt them.
